Through donations of time, products and resources, ExxonMobil and its employees are supporting their local communities during these challenging times. At home and abroad, this means looking out for friends, families and neighbors.

The company increased its capability to manufacture specialized polypropylene, used in medical masks and gowns, by about 1,000 tons per month, which is enough to produce up to 200 million medical masks or 20 million gowns.

Monthly production of isopropyl alcohol – a key ingredient in many disinfectant and hand sanitizer products – has been increased by 3,000 tons, which is enough to produce up to 50 million 4-ounce bottles of medical-grade hand sanitizer.

ExxonMobil also reconfigured manufacturing operations in Louisiana to produce 160,000 gallons of sanitizer medical-grade hand sanitizer to be donated to health care providers and first responders across the United States.

In addition, the company has joined a collaborative effort that has resulted in a new design for safe, reusable face masks.
